Wednesday
This was our see everything last day since we planned on spending Thursday finishing our shopping. Our day consisted of first going to the forbidden city, then we tried to see Mao's body, and onto the Temple of Heaven. After the Temple of Heaven we went to the market, the same one we went to the first day. After the market we went to eat the famous Beijing duck.
The Forbidden City

Me and the famous picture of Mao in front of the Forbidden City.

Entering the Forbidden City
Mao's body is across the street at Tiananmen Square, but when we went the Chinese man was getting mad at us and we weren't sure why so we just left.

The Temple of Heaven, it was a rainy day.
The Temple of Heaven is the place where the emperor made a sacrifice for good harvest. We had a great time especially since there was such a group at this park. Old Chinese people would come dressed up and dance, or workout, or sing for the tourists. It made the atmosphere really fun and light.

A cute couple dancing.

Two guys singing a famous Chinese song.

Me and the Temple.

The echo wall- it was too crowded to work but was still cool.

The inside decoration.

Another part of the Temple of Heaven.
We got lost after we left the temple, and it took us a walk around the world to get to the subway station. Then we made it to the market, and after a long day I didn't even get anything. We then decided to try the Peking duck, it was delicious. I've never had duck before, but this was really good. It was like duck wraps and then we dipped the skin in sugar. Yum!

The Duck skin
We also decided to be adventurous and try some turtle.... they brought it out alive before they cooked it. I tried just a bite and it was very chewy- poor little guy!
