This is William at his house. It is a duplex style with a home connected on the left side.
It was a large home with about five bedrooms and four bathrooms. These were real bathrooms with separated showers, not like the one in my apartment. About each bedroom had a balcony and William had about two of his own toy rooms. He slept with his grandma and kicked his grandpa out of the bed onto the cot next to it. His baby brother slept with his parents, so it left alot of extra bedrooms. The kitchen wasn't very large- I haven't seen any nice kitchens in China.

This is their one living/family room. I haven't seen a normal couch in China either. They are not comfortable to sit in, having to sit really far back to lean against the back.
William's mom is amazing and such a nice person, her English is choppy but still pretty good. I really enjoy talking to her. She showed us her "garden" -not the garden I am used to back home but oh so beautiful.

Her pond full of fish.

The view of her backyard from above.

William and me
The fed us dinner and it was delicious. William's mom told us that an hour before we were supposed to be there William was getting impatient. His mom told him he had one more hour and he asked her how long that was? She told him something like 1600 beats. So what did he do? He sat there and counted all of them!!! Such a cutie!
We then went to John's house where he lives with his parents, brother, and grandma. Their home was more modest, but they didn't give us a tour: and I have no pictures. We just sat on the couch at their house while they all talked in Chinese. John wouldn't even talk to anyone unless there were commericals. He was glued to the tv and the show was something comparable to WipeOut back home. Their living room was decked out with huge speakers set up for surround sound, and the tv was offset so that the projector could go right onto the bare wall.
The next day we went to Howard's house.
This is the view from his house- it was the top floor of their building.
His was the nicest house with rich parents who are taking him to Korea this year and Australia next. The have a maid who was there the time we were. The parents room was large enough that Howard's bed is in there too with plenty of space. Their master bathroom is about the size of our small apartment. They had a jacuzzi tub, one of the largest tubs I've ever seen. It was an impressive place.

This is the pool in their complex.
We ate some fruit and they talked about Howard in class and we went to Zhenzhen's house.
She lives with her parents and grandma. She is a stage baby and has been in a commercial already. She performed for us on her Chinese string thing (I forgot the name, can't you tell?)- I took video and not any pictures so I don't have any to share.
I love China.
