This was our travel day- destination Xi'an!! From the hostel we took 3 taxis full of us and all of our bags to the train station. I don't know how it always happens, but it has been decided that these trips would be CAKE if we all had our cell phones... because yet again we got separated and lost. We were all dropped off at separate sides of the train station and I believe there was some heavenly help that we always were safe and never lost for a long time.
The train was the worst yet, not because it was disgusting, but so so uncomfortable. We were in these that had three and three facing eachother. Our backs were the backs of the people behind us, and sat straight vertically. Not very comfortable for an overnight 14 hour ride. We also had three Chinese men sitting across from us and playing footsies with them was not very comfortable. One way to describe this ride: no fun!


The men across from us- we laughed at the middle one as he tried to get comfortable all night.
