Day 10- the last day

This was the day that we flew from Xi'an to Guangzhou. After flying from America to China, a two hour flight was no big deal. We did hit some turbulence at one point, and it is always funny when people's drinks go flying- no pun intended. I really don't know what I would do if I still had a drink in my hand when things get bumpy. The man in the row next to me lifted his in the air... which just meant that it was like a shower on everyone around him. It was actually really funny to watch.
We were all really excited to get back that night after being gone for so long, we just missed our little home. I had been sick with a cold the whole time in Beijing and I was ready to be back. I never thought I'd miss this rock hard bed, and our long hike up the nine flights of stairs to our room, but I can't tell you how excited I was to pull up to our building. Traveling is fun but after aching feet, dragging all our stuff around, and living out of a suitcase- it is just nice to be somewhere that's mine.

It was a really weird feeling this vacation- we all felt like we should be headed home, HOME the next day. When in reality it is true in less than a month: Next stop America!
