Drum Roll Please!!!

We have been assigned!!! OK story first: we were assigned to Taiyuan Xingling School in north China.  The departure dates were February 23 – June 1.  Since this is such a smaller amount of time than the five months I expected to be gone I thought there was no hurt in asking for a longer stay.  ILP said they would check, and after a month we got reassigned. Now we are going to Kaiyin, Zhongshan and we leave  February 17!!!  We will be there till June 26, 2010 making this trip FOUR months long!  Andrea and I are so excited!  Some fun new facts about our new city: Bigger group. This means that you’ll find people who you really click with and are excited to hang out with (as well as travel with). There is also another ILP school right by you, so you can hang out with them as well.

· Close to Guilin (Yangshuo)—google image those places.  Also,  we are clost to this “Hawaii-like” place called Sanya. Look that one up too.  Even though we are farther away from Beijing we will have time to visit for our week long trip.

· You get to do a 2 day trip in Hong Kong at the beginning of your trip. WAY awesome.

We were also told that with the 4-5 months we will  really feel like a part of the community, rather than a tourist.  Also southern China gets warmer quicker than the north.  Yay for the warm sun!!

So here we go to Kaiyin!!
